[ hello, laurence! today, zuriel is browsing some of the shops on the boardwalk and seems to be perusing sunglasses options. they pick up a few and rotate through them, but as laurence approaches they are seized by affection week and put a pair on him. ]

A little too on-theme, you think?

[ surprised, he jumps. not the greeting he expected. ]

Maybe a little. I don't think these are even daphne flowers.

They're not. [ they seem to agree with this, taking a look. ] They might be close to cinquefoils. You could always get a different pair if you want.

week 1, monday

[ ramiel is wandering the marketstreet in the valentines day afternoon, idly poking at heart shaped balloons and periodically grabbing heart-shaped lollipops and other sweets. not the love chocolate but just candy. ]

These are fun, don't you think?

Why're they all shaped like hearts?

It's for Valentine's day.

Does your world not celebrate that? [ offers him a pink heart lollipop. ]

week 2, monday

anyway i am going to assume this is after face reveals, so that is to say zuriel's hanging out in the gazebo and trying to light the tree on fire with her eyes. this does not work!

but there is a laurence, so she stops after a moment and gives a little wave. ]

It'll probably take some getting used to, won't it? [ the lack of glow... ]

Thanks? [ funny. ] I promise you we didn't do this on purpose. Didn't know it would turn on, didn't know when it would turn off... it's been a surprise to all of us.

[ meanwhile over at the bar, gabriel is behind the counter, leaning with their back against it as they look over the wall of alcohol with their arms folded over their chest. they appear to be in deep thought, but they turn their head upon hearing the door open. ray i do not know if he actually is bringing them bouquets directly in-thread or they were already delivered you tell me.

[ they sure are. but they still give off a surprised vibe. ]

[ ramiel is just vibing in the mansion lobby. living room, now, i guess! she's sitting cozy on a couch. ]

Pretty sure you know it's not meant like that. Some of these people probably would've wanted to talk to you every day if they could, even before now.

One of the greater things about the healing center is that practically no one sought me out, actually.

[ hello, she's hanging out in the academy in equestria, sort of sitting in a classroom browsing through a book. ]

I'll admit, I wasn't sure how this would work. But I left the specifics up to the other three.

It's a little surprising it was that simple, but I'm glad. That's just part of it, though, right?

week 7, wednesday

[ he's. kind of staying away from the tavern as much as he can right now to give people space, so laurence will probably come across him at the church. or, rather, behind it. he's hanging out behind it with his wings wrapped around himself, a cigarette in hand and sort of making sure he's out of the way from most of the major foot traffic.

he doesn't even bother turning around though when he speaks up. ]

Laurence. [ hey bud. weird day, huh. ]

...Okay, even if you're supposed to be God, it's a little weird you do that without even looking. At least say hello or I'm not giving you the dumb flowers.
