I've noticed. [ they do not really comment on the money thing, but that is a bit of a sticking point. ] They were looking for something... I guess you could call it a treasure? They'd been hunting for a little while, and when I heard about it I wanted in on it. Just to see if it was real.

It was. And... it was. We found it recently, just not the way we planned to. [ but they wave it off with a hand. ] It started with an idea to try and track the thing down, and we found a lot more than we anticipated.
It felt that way sometimes, too. [ they will just come out and say it. ] But I knew that going in. I wanted to come with them because they believed there was something almost supernatural about it. And I wanted to see for myself.

... in the end, it was a good thing because there was a conclusion to it. We all found what we wanted even if getting it was different than planned. So yes? [ even if they sound vaguely unsure for a bit. ] I like to think so.
Yeah. If things were still as dangerous as they were, I wouldn't be happy here at all. I wouldn't want them figuring it out alone.

They had been searching for some time before I even met them. All of them had their reasons, but the one spearheading the whole thing had been at it for years because he needed to prove it for himself that it was real. [ it puts it lightly, but it's true. ] But you could say that, yeah. I grew up around people who are in touch with that side of things, but I never really experienced it myself until I met all of them. Not that they specifically had anything to do with it, but you know what I mean.

The one in charge of the hunt was very persuasive. I think he could have led us to the bottom of the ocean and we would have all followed anyway. We all believed in it, so we knew it had to be worth something. [ but they consider how to phrase this. ] Are you familiar with psychic abilities? Do some demiflora have those?

Uh... Depends on what you mean by that. I don't think any of them can do stuff like read your mind or whatever - but Begonias can move stuff around with their minds, and Lilies can hypnotize people, so...?
We'll see what happens after these two months. Maybe if God does another trial period like this, I'll volunteer again. [ anything can happen...

A little similar. Ours are more the "see your future" kind. The ability to tap into people and see inside of them. That sort of thing. I'm familiar with that, but I wanted to see something else. I wanted to find something real on my own that wasn't connected to what I knew before.
Why did you volunteer? What are you getting out of this if you have to be stuck here instead of with the people you want to be with?

Oh... I think that book said a Chrysanthemum might be able to do something like that - "reading your fate" or something. [ iris would never shut up about that book. ] What was this big new thing, anyway?
My friends would understand. And I want to be able to help, because I was asked to. And if I was asked to for different reasons than I'm usually asked for help I'd like to see if I can. That's all there is.
