[ zhongli can enter the bar, and the first thing he'll notice is there's a new glowing figure behind the counter. they seem to be pulling bottles out of nowhere, placing them in new locations and reorganizing, gold halo hovering behind them. but without turning, they realize someone is there and speak up. ]

No rush. Please, take your time. [ while it initially gives him pause, surprised as he is to see that there's someone behind the bar that isn't yves, he comes up to the bar and settles into a seat. at least he was told yesterday there could be more angels in heaven that they might meet. ]

It seems so. We're doing everything we can to look into this, but like the previous incident, nothing we've seen in our research matches this kind of occurrence.

[ also as a lil note in case you missed it in chat because chat be zoomin, we handwaved that the npcs showed up and helped as much as they could (helping move people and with bandaging etc.) just so you know they weren't ignoring the scene of the incident. ]

Is there perhaps an issue in the [ thinks, then decides ] structure of this portion of Heaven?
If it's something new, for this redemption program, it could be leading to more possibility for error?

[ BABY DRAGON! while ramiel is minding her own business, there's... a quick blur of brown nearby in the grass and flowers, a whip of gold at the end of the motion, followed by a rustle of flora. waiting... waiting... and then POUNCE! at her sparkly hair, before darting back with a playful chirrup. ]

[ zuriel didn't go very far from the garden, as it turns out, because she's here and sitting on the ground giving the tree the most withering look possible. how dare you betray her. you're supposed to be her kin.

that is to say, she's probably at a great height for a baby dragon to approach. ]

[ well, now there's a little creachur making its way over to her with mild concern at the mood radiating off of her. with one of his small, chinese dragon style mits, he reaches out and paws once, twice at her leg. and then chirrups. ]

[ after zhongli's memory plays out, ramiel has to kind of stop to think for a moment? a lot of people's profiles have very, very old ages on them. she hasn't thought too much about it, because she comes from a world where time is subjective. in the same twenty years, some people have lived for thousands.

it doesn't surprise her that things still slip by even with so much time. ]

How long has it been since she passed?

zhongli is... used to seeing this memory, and another, at this point. even by tuesday - but he will never be angry to see it, bittersweet as it might be. especially when considering the people that have seen it, so far, and how they might resonate with the kind of person that guizhong was. who might be able to remember her. she'd take some joy in knowing those from other worlds could meet even a memory of her, he thinks. ]

It's been two thousand years since the Archon War ended, but she was lost in the midst of it. Some few hundred or so years over three thousand.

I think she would have liked to meet you and Gamaliel, to talk about technology and more technical knowledge.

[ meanwhile, after 20 minutes (kidding), zuriel is left with her own thoughts as zhongli's memory fades through the mirrors and begins to loop again.

it's... hard, she thinks, to know you're going to eventually leave behind the friends you had, because they will fade with time and you'll be left until you can meet them again. so she looks at zhongli for a moment before she purses her lips briefly. ]

... do you feel it's a lonely existence? [ first of all. ] Even knowing you had a contract to honor, it must have been difficult to seal away and say goodbye to a friend.
