A lot of what this entails is just... Giving you space to figure yourselves out. To reflect on who you've been and who you'd like to be, and make an effort to be that person. Hopefully the best version of yourself.

An Archon is any entity or person that has acquired a gnosis, an item of power from the Heavenly Principles of Celestia. Each gnosis contains untold elemental power, and makes the Archon a sort of... god of gods, in a way. Anyone and anything may become an Archon, whether adeptus or wind elemental or human. In fact, an entire war that lasted nearly 2000 years was fought largely by gods or god-like beings to earn the right to the gnoses, to being crowned one of the Seven Archon - I participated in it if only to help protect Liyue from interlopers and usurpers, alongside other gods and the adepti, and as a byproduct was the one to become the Geo Archon.
That... is a very long time for a war. I can only imagine how many lives must have been lost... [ lives of gods? of human bystanders? they aren't sure how it works, but war is never good. ALSO: ] So having this gnosis is what makes you an Archon—a god of gods. What happens if you lose it? Or if someone takes it from you?
It was, and the casualties... [ he goes quiet, thinking about it - distant and sad, remembering. ] I felled many gods and monsters, and yet more died in battle alongside me. The people that were caught up in it, the needless destruction of mortal lives... they are the hardest to accept.

It's not something to be lost, at least, even for the most forgetful. However - in the case of those that were already non-human, they revert to their previous power. I willingly forfeited mine in a contract when my people showed that they were ready to lead their nation without me, like a child inheriting their parents' mantle so to speak.

Fortunately, my fellow adepti stepped up behind them to test that bridge themselves, but only as support.
I agree. It's now the age of man, in my opinion, and they more than proved it.

Another god, one that I had imprisoned in the sea thousands of years ago now. As far as they were aware at the time, I had died - but I had let those involved in the defense of Liyue know, after the fact, that I was still among them if ever they needed me.
What do you think the next age will be? After the age of man?

I would not abandon them so wholly, but it's theirs to make decisions with as they see fit. I only stand with them as a resident, not their god.
