Mostly, adventurers are commissioned to fight them due to their danger to everyday people, and they're usually more aimed towards stopping them permanently than overriding.

They will continue to get up within a few seconds, if you're not prepared.
Unfortunate that it takes quite a few hits to their weak points to actually take them down permanently, but I believe they use them to track their targets.
