I believed you all when you confirmed that there really was no way to get more time, but it was regardless something else... nine hours should feel like more time, yet it was so little all at once.
Nine hours is seriously too quick for that kind of thing. I'm not sure why it had to be exactly that long. There's no record of what the logic was at the time or anything.

The Liyue court system can take months, even years, for its most difficult cases. [ they're not fontaine with their built in justice detector. ] To conduct the investigation, autopsy, and trial all in one day, condensed to nine hours...

Yeah, the court system I'm familiar with is similar. Maybe this one isn't designed for it to be a mystery; it'd be hard to hide an act of violence like that without any witnesses at all normally in a place like this. Maybe it's just poor design. Either way, I'm just glad you guys managed despite the limitations.
