Thank you, for continuing to look into it. I hope that it being something that was dormant within him, a madness from home as I was told, is the sole cause of what Jing Yuan did. But the barriers worry me still.

Understandable. What aspect was unexpected for them, exactly..?
I believed you all when you confirmed that there really was no way to get more time, but it was regardless something else... nine hours should feel like more time, yet it was so little all at once.
Nine hours is seriously too quick for that kind of thing. I'm not sure why it had to be exactly that long. There's no record of what the logic was at the time or anything.
[ it's almost like it was because we would die in a 12 hour trial ]
The Liyue court system can take months, even years, for its most difficult cases. [ they're not fontaine with their built in justice detector. ] To conduct the investigation, autopsy, and trial all in one day, condensed to nine hours...
We're fortunate that there were so many of us to handle the burden.
[ we did do two day trials and i dont like to think about that ]
Yeah, the court system I'm familiar with is similar. Maybe this one isn't designed for it to be a mystery; it'd be hard to hide an act of violence like that without any witnesses at all normally in a place like this. Maybe it's just poor design. Either way, I'm just glad you guys managed despite the limitations.

[ what a mystery. oh well. ]
The same aspects that we were surprised by. The locking on Thursday was localized to us, and then today's expulsion, obviously...

So that someone might have harmed another in Heaven was the not unexpected aspect? As this is a screening, of sorts, I suspect.

[ they thought it was obvious. ]
They didn't invite people to heaven assuming violence.

I hope that no more violence follows, for all of our sakes. I would rather there not be a need for protocol, if we can help it.

You and me both. [ just. so tiredly. ] It's the strictest I've seen heaven be, which makes sense, but still.
