saber walks directly into the forcefield and is yeeted backwards at mach fuck. however, basilio may notice that there's a little bit of a shimmer in the air, as though the forcefield is a little more visible now in the dimmer light.]
[ saber will let the rabies furry do that, and then make their way back to the altar. they do not try to cross this time but will be here ready in case blowing the other candles out does anything and they need to react quickly.
[bas accidentally wanders near the forcefield and gets yeeted again, but he only hits the edge of it so it's not as bad this time.
but i won't leave you in suspense. you blow out all the candles, and the room is pitch dark. but the forcefield is now visible a pattern of glowing light on the floor. there are two rings, and each ring has a gap in it, so if you are very careful you can slip through both gaps and reach the altar.
at the altar, there is a knife set out, and a bowl.]

okay!! yippee!! bas will navigate his way around carefully. after a few experiences with the purple forcefield light, he'll be very cautious not to brush against it and get himself thrown away again. he can already feel the bruises forming under his very bitten skin at this point and he'd rather not subject himself to more.
when he slips through the final gap and reaches the altar, he stares at it for a good long moment, like he's contemplating something. and then he'll pick up the knife, spinning it around to point the blade at himself, then saber, then the altar. ]
Reckon one of us is gonna have to spill some blood in that thing.
