Because as much as you hate to be here, it'd be worse if you were cut off from the network and connecting with everyone else completely. And because the entire point of you being here is redemption. So, it's like redeeming yourself from yesterday by me trusting you not to throw this one.

But if you don't want it, that's fine.

I like being outside. [ simple answer. ] The beach is nice, but there's something more peaceful about this for me. I come out here a lot. Besides, dirt doesn't hurt anything, and enough of you have found your way here anyway.

I am ignoring the church. [ for being an angel, they don't seem to have many thoughts on religion. ] And it's not just dirt.

[ a gesture around them. there are plants and flowers along the path. granted they would also just sit in the dirt but whatever. ]

Some people are fussy about that kind of thing.

[ grabs the nearest flower by the stem and rips it out before letting it fall back down to the ground ]

Does it actually make you feel better to destroy things that can't fight back, or is it overcompensation?

Okay, then I'm not sure. It might be a temporary effect of being in heaven. Your bodies need to adapt, so maybe that's just a reaction?

how can you not KNOW what's causing this, if you're running this whole thing on "god"'s behalf?
