I have been studying! It is a place much like Rodinia, though - I think it is far more welcoming. And it has such a vast history. I got onto the train, and the next thing I knew, I was stepping directly into the ruins of an old Roman bath!

This would definitely be something new to you, I'm not surprised. Supposedly actual Italy is full of all kinds of stuff like that. Gardens and museums and buildings and all sorts of old things you'd lose your mind over. A history lover's dream.

Oh, with certainty. Apparently, there is an old saying - that Rome was not built in a day? It was not explored in a day, either! Haha.

Honestly, sometimes these places feel... empty. I know it is by design, but - to see ruins is to know that someone was there. Even if it's a replica, or not necessarily the same, humanity leaves behind a footprint. And I will always, always love that.
Between all the ruins to explore and everyone suddenly blessed with fine furred feathered and scaled friends, I think I am having a very, very good day.

I think the same can be said about a lot of places. Ruins, ghost towns, sunken ships, stuff like that. Everything had to come from somewhere, but finding that somewhere is always the question. It's then up to whoever is adventurous enough to find the answer.

I don't have a ton of experience with snakes, but I don't think most of them are meant to be friendly. I always got the impression they just want to be left alone. Guess Eupha lucked out.
As for the snakes - truly, I think Miss Eupha could befriend any animal, so it doesn't surprise me. She's such a wonderful person to spend time around.
What if I wanted to hear more about your week instead? [ teasing. ] After the weekend it feels almost uneventful. Not that I'm going to complain about it. I don't mind a slower start.

Even if it is, it's not like I can do much about it. The tavern's a public place, just like the bar's always been public. Maybe some of you will get bored and go somewhere else though. There's time.

The new islands are always pretty interesting to look through. The ones that were picked out for you during this trial are all pretty different from each other. I'll go back and look myself, too.
