Would you like to meet in person to discuss this, or would you prefer to continue over text?
I'll happily show you Charlie's letter, but it's more than that to me. He hides it, but he has been so unhappy this past week. And last Saturday, he told me I ought not to trust him.
In person may be more efficient. But I'm fine with whichever you prefer.
ᴗ_ᴗ That sounds like the kind of thing he would say. It's hard to know when he's speaking from the heart or just saying what he thinks people want to hear. Or when he's just being needlessly critical of himself.
[sure she is in her room let's say so there is privacy.]
Thank you for coming. [the tone of ramiel's last message was sad; she figures if this is going to be a difficult conversation it's better to have it in person.]
First of all, for some reason this was delivered to Lucas. [which i assumed was just a mistake and i wasn't gonna bring it up but now that other stuff is weird i thought i'd just check lmao.]
Mizu and I think the blacked out names here are: Claude, Lailah, Adolphe, Uruha, Daigo and Euphasia or Elysia. And the first letter of each spells "Claude." Nothing else I've tried with the other names that would work for these answers adds up to something that makes sense.
But I don't know how much right I have to that feeling when it's our job to have prevented all of this.
[ she shakes her head though and kind of adds the rest quickly because that puts shadowheart in a position of. maybe feeling obligated to say something comforting, which isn't the point. ]
... It is better to know than to not. Looking away from the truth can't be the right answer.
If you're holding out on an easy solution that could have avoided any of this from happening, perhaps some sort of on/off switch you forgot about, I'll be cross. But otherwise, I'll grant my permission for you to have feelings about it.
[ sometimes you have internalized that you are a burden and that really crosses wires with also knowing you are here in a 'job' capacity. don't worry about it!!! ]
No. If we had any solutions we were hiding, they would have come out by now.
No, but I doubt Charlie would be sending letters with this information if it was only over an apple. She wouldn't care about us getting revenge, she'd care about us being able to save him.

But like I said... Maybe whoever is acting just wants to make us confused and angry and sad?

[a brief delay in responding.]
Ramiel, I think Claude killed Zhongli.

a very long delay ]
Oh.
Why do you think that?

[in... a location!]

[ because she can teleport. i will spare you a tag round though so wherever shadowheart says, ramiel will just. appear there. ]

[so she will show charlie's letter]

[ who knows! but yes, the emotions here are... sad as she reads this over. and also confused! ]
Lailah is an Angel where they are?
no subject
Charlie's letter says Kiraman, Lailah and Mary are the angels over there.
no subject
I see...
I suppose if they can all talk to each other over there, that information would be trustworthy...
[ she likes claude so this? sucks? but she has zero reason to doubt. ]
no subject
I only worry I'm misinterpreting it somehow. Maybe I'm seeing something because I already thought it was there.
Are you alright?

[sighing.]
No. I certainly don't think so.

No. If we had any solutions we were hiding, they would have come out by now.
... Have the letters said why? Affliction or...?

I suppose that's a relief, in a way...? He seemed like someone capable of making hard decisions. But I also don't think he was cruel, so...
[ ... ]
What remains is what to do about it now that the trial is over.
no subject
[at least god told her there wasn't but maybe he was being a liar.]
So, one of us needs to kill him. Though ideally it won't happen directly in front of everyone.
no subject
I think it would be best to confront him. If he's been afflicted, we could learn a lot about how it works, now that we have more time.
