Sorry, I really don't know anything about swordfighting outside of videogames.

A properly made stick, maybe, but not a random branch off the ground. It doesn't have the right kind of weight or sturdiness to it.

Still, I appreciate the effort. And in this age, it's probably a good thing not to be too familiar with real swordfighting.

I think we all expected someone else to be writing it. But I wouldn't blame Zuriel for it.

How did you all get assigned for this job, anyway?

We were asked by God.

I think we all had qualities they thought worked for this.

All three of us have different ones. I don't know why Ramiel or Zuriel were asked specifically, but I think for me it was my experiences. I know a lot about trying to nudge people towards a better path.

Interesting thing to have experience in.

It's definitely not an usual skill. And this version of it is a lot more direct than I'm used to. I just want to spare people pain if I can. It's not always possible.

Unfortunately not. It's hard to avoid sacrifice or hardship.

It's impossible to avoid it altogether. Even here. To get this second chance in the first place, you all had to lose something.
