How did you all get assigned for this job, anyway?

We were asked by God.

I think we all had qualities they thought worked for this.

All three of us have different ones. I don't know why Ramiel or Zuriel were asked specifically, but I think for me it was my experiences. I know a lot about trying to nudge people towards a better path.

Interesting thing to have experience in.

It's definitely not an usual skill. And this version of it is a lot more direct than I'm used to. I just want to spare people pain if I can. It's not always possible.

It's impossible to avoid it altogether. Even here. To get this second chance in the first place, you all had to lose something.

But we're the lucky exceptions for this trial run?

Was there no screening process for our souls at all?

It sort of defeats the purpose if you pick people who are sure to succeed.

Makes sense. Is there a limit on the number of people who're allowed to succeed?

Nope. I think the boss is mostly hoping people do succeed to prove their point right now.

That this is a good venture for them to take.

Do they have to prove it to anyone else, or just themselves?

Themselves. I don't think they care that much about other people's opinions.

I see. So their goal is to confirm if people can redeem themselves, right?
