It sort of defeats the purpose if you pick people who are sure to succeed.

Makes sense. Is there a limit on the number of people who're allowed to succeed?

Nope. I think the boss is mostly hoping people do succeed to prove their point right now.

Do they have to prove it to anyone else, or just themselves?

Themselves. I don't think they care that much about other people's opinions.

I see. So their goal is to confirm if people can redeem themselves, right?

That's part of it.

How well do you expect that to go?

I wouldn't have agreed to help if I thought it had no chance of success.

How badly do you think the lot of us need reform?

Uh. It depends on the person?

Are all of the activities or challenges going to be the same across the board for us, regardless of how much any one person needs or doesn't need reform?

I'm not trying to be mysterious about it, it's just a personal metric for each of you.

There might be some individual challenges, but it should mostly be the same all around. It's more about the work you do on yourself than us asking you to jump through this amount of hoops to succeed.

I know this whole thing specifically is a first, but did you have to go through any kind of trial when you entered this realm?
