[ these things are wild. they kind of resemble wacky inflatable tube men? they have huge bugged out eyeballs and waving noodle arms.

you're a freelance detective cop though, so honestly? this is nothing for you. when saber punches one of the dudes, it makes a sound like a balloon popping, and explodes. you are now covered in confetti. this is great power... a random citizen off to the side gasps.

but there are even more crawling out of the sewers, yelling PARTY! PARTY! PARTY! and they seem like they're getting ready to pounce. there's seven of them, advancing from all different sides. ]

[ saber just shakes some of the confetti off, and it flies off in different directions... it looks like a neat shampoo commercial... sort of.

saber observes their attackers, before they move to pounce first, trying to punch at as many of them as they can. ]

[ another couple of citizens gasp, and put their hands up to clap wildly for this brave vigilante that patrols the streets. the shampoo commercial is real. you know you will be approached for so many brand deals after this battle.

but yes - saber is a punching machine. they have honed their body to be wildly ready to destroy at any moment. these little suckers all pop like balloons until the streets run red with... red confetti.

and the more that they kill, the more the confetti seems to spell out a message? ]

they can also hear the sound of party favors coming from the sewers. ]

but... party favors?? saber will wander over to the sewer entrance?? is it like a gutter or a manhole situation. but either way they will lean in closer. ]

when they look down into the gutter, they see that there are about a billion of these inflatable tube guys down waiting there. all of them flip saber off in unison. it's so flippant and edgy and cool of them.

there's a boombox hanging out in the middle of all of them, playing some TUNES. ]

is there anything around like a stick or something long?? if so, saber will take it and try to poke down there with it. poke poke poke poke ]

[ sure, there's a stick they can reach that's conveniently on the street.

the bug-eyed freaks all complain about it, and you can probably hear the little chorus of tiny, squeaky fuck you!s coming from them. the stick is just long enough to reach in to touch the boombox. what do they do with it, are they trying to turn it off or grab it or just... randomly poking it. ]

[ the party is RUINED.

the boombox turns off. the rad tunes stop playing, and very suddenly, there is there a rumbling from under the earth. behind saber, the earth cracks in two, and confetti flies everywhere as the pissed off tube guys soar out of the hole and are unleashed on the general public. oh no... your brand deal... what will happen to it now?

in the distance near the police station you hear someone yelling WHERE IS KUNG FURY! WE NEED BACKUP! ]

[ oh. hmmmm. perhaps that was a bad move.

they will try to punch the lil guys, unsure if they should stick here or go see what the police is up to. ]

[ they can punch the lil guys who are just throwing a HUGE fit about the tunes being stopped. the tube guys saber can't reach are running around just punching the heads clean off of random citizens. this is normal amounts of violence. there are still police yelling in the distance about needing help.

as saber goes, they have this really rad sequence of beating the snot out of these party guys to the most techno beat to ever techno. they pop off heads, they break kneecaps, they throw one guy into another guy and they both explode (literally). it's totally awesome. you destroy 3000 dudes on your way to the station. woah!

the music is playing in real life by the way, it's like a localized thing that happens when you punch dudes in sequence. it stops when you put your dukes down.

they can make it to the police station! they used to be a cop or still are a cop but a vigilante, or both, so they know where it is. however, they will run into a few people on their way... ]
