No, I won't make you do chores. You're supposed to be relaxing and recovering. Let's walk.

Who says cleaning can't be soothing in its motions? [ it's not for elysia, but. ] A walk is just as lovely.

Of course. I've served the Lord long before I actually met them.

[ nun... at any rate, she grabs her bigass luggage bag and will head out! ]

I do find it soothing, but it just wouldn't feel right to put you to work. [ also there was nothing that really needed to be cleaned she's just insane. ]

If you insist, I won't protest. What do you keep in that?

[ she nods to her bigass luggage. ]

[ she opens up her luggage. inside is a Mk19 Automatic Grenade Launcher... ]

I usually prefer to keep a handgun on me as well, but didn't want to pack too heavily for my time here. [ SO SHE CHOSE THE GRENADE LAUNCHER? ]

[ elysia is impressed. she feels impressed. ]

Isn't a handgun lighter than a grenade launcher?

[ it's fine to want the grenade launcher... but on a scale of heaviness.... ]

Ah... That's true.

But I thought that if a need arose, I would rather have the stronger weapon.

I understand. You must have built up quite the strength to carry it around with you everywhere.

Oh, yes! I would say my strength is my primary... strength.

[florescences]

Oh, how wonderful! I'm sure you must surprise so many.

[ with either her strength or grenade launcher. ]

Advantageous in more than one way.

I'm well known for it, actually. I try to make myself useful by doing the things others can't do, to make up for that I'm not much help in other areas. So it's no secret.

But it certainly comes in handy at the cathedral. You know how it is.

I'm a student, so mostly attending class and looking after the cathedral.

Was the cathedral a base of some sort? There must be some reason you have a number of firearms.

For the Sisterhood, in a way...? But no girl would be caught dead without a firearm anywhere in Kivotos.

[ that would be soooo embarrassing. ]

Huh? It's normal for everyone to have a firearm in your world?

High school is a tumultuous time in any girls life.

[ elysia is used to the whole world being a tumultuous time, but it's a little weird for it to be only high schoolers. ]

What are you learning in high school...?

[sprayandpray]

[ the whole world is also high school girls. ]

Standard curriculum, really. Math, history, combat, science, language, physical education.

Do you have.... gun fights for your combat lessons?
