[ Gamaliel is at the arcade in Bikini Bottom! They don't seem to be doing anything in particular, though; they're simply leaning against a convenient counter looking at the games from time to time before going back to whatever it is they could possibly be doing on their phone.

They do nod in acknowledgement when they see Akihiko, but they're not starting conversations without prompting, apparently... ]

[Akihiko was just exploring. The arcade is kind of nostalgic. He can't help comparing it to Pawlonia Mall's arcade]

Not bad! It's been a while since I spent time in a place like this one.

[He's already looking for the crane games. Nobody goes into Game Parade without giving the crane game at the entrance a try, and Akihiko sure wasn't be the exception to that. No harm in doing the same here!]

I can't have lost my touch at these things yet.

[ watches him go to the crane game ... they have their chin leaning on their hand, though it's impossible to tell what their expression is. what with the no face. ]

There's a touch? I always thought these things were just rigged.

week 0, monday

[ ramiel is sitting on the soundstage in bikini bottom. they've got their legs swung over the edge and they're listening to techno music from the speakers, tapping at their phone and swaying back and forth to the music.

they look up and give akihiko a wave when they spot him approaching! ]

[ziosar]

[Yo, Ramiel. Akihiko sits to the edge of the stage. Techno music isn't really his kind, but hey, he's not going to ask for it to be turned off. No harm in having in the air]

So what's the deal with the boardwalk? Your boss made it happen?

[It feels pretty nice, all things considered. As much as Akihiko dislikes, you know, being dead, he's not all that unsatisfied with the surroundings]

Sort of! Heaven is a big place.

We all picked areas of it to let you guys visit so that you would have a good time.

week 0, monday

[ zuriel is wandering the boardwalk of bikini bottom, browsing through some of the shops. today, they are looking through what looks like cheap little keychains. but they notice the shadow of someone approaching, so they turn their head and lift a hand in a wave. ]

[ziosar]

[Ah, the angel he hadn't talked with. Akihiko greets with his head, and sees what Zuriel had been interested in]

It's only matter of time before someone takes all of them somehow. You should get one before they're all gone.

[Because, well, let's face it: there's a number of chaotic messes in this cast, and Akihiko is pretty sure the location vandalism proves it. Someone might take everything in the shops just to try to spite others]

Oh? Do you think heaven's going to let anything go out of stock that easily? [ they sound a little amused and curious about this because things really do just sort of appear here. ] None of them stand out yet.

week 0, monday

[ even with a new island to explore, perhaps akihiko finds himself stopping by the bar after an exciting day in bikini bottom. however, as he enters the confessional he will find there is a glowing figure behind the bar's counter. this figure has their back to the door, arms folded over their chest as they observe the shelves of alcohol behind the bar. a gold halo floats over their head, and they seem to be searching for something.

approach, or leave? maybe he doesn't drink at all and he isn't even there long enough to notice. ]

[Hah, he sure stops by the bar, at least to know what's in here, and probably to be annoyed by the presence of bar games in a place he technically shouldn't be -- due to Japan's firm attitude towards minors being near booze and the such -- but all that is left aside when he notices an unfamiliar figure.

The angels aren't hostile, he knows that, but the sight of one he hadn't seen before still gets his guard up a little bit, enough that he decides he should at least have a talk!]

You weren't part of the welcoming committee.

[It's a comment that's pretty much meant to see what kind of response is received. A reply saying why they hadn't been with the other three angels? A clarification that they're not associated to those three? A general 'so what?'? Could be many things!]

[ to be completely fair, you guys stole pieces of the bar games they did have. anyway, they turn their head upon hearing akihiko speak, giving a small shrug to the statement. ]

Ah, yeah. Figured I'd leave that to the Angels. That's their job. I know where to draw the lines here. [ a gesture around the room. hello, their job is bar. ]

week 1, monday

It's an apple tree.

Enlightening response, but that's not what I was asking.

[You didn't specify, Akihiko. Takes a minute for him to send another message]

Hang on, I get it. Change of plans, please get over here. Maybe you'll feel what I felt just now.

[ they send this message and then are just. there beside him. ]

I'm aware of the feelings it's been giving people.

week 1, monday

[ gam can be found at the holiday market, at whatever time of day is appropriate. pick a holiday! they are hanging out here.

anyway since akihiko is seeking them out, while he's walking towards them; ]

Hey. Something I can do for you?

[ziosar]

[Morning, then! That's Christmas time -- perfect for this. Akihiko approaches, looking kind of pleased with himself, and shows Gamaliel a cheap plushie. It definitely came from the crane machine]

Told you it could be done.

[Yeah, pal, you sure told them...a week ago. Took you seven days]

[holyspirits]

[ they stare at the plushie. they stare at akihiko. they stare back at the plushie ]

Have you been spending the past week trying to win one?

[ They Think This Is Hilarious ]

week 3, monday

[hotfixer]

[ ramiel is wandering the mirror maze, even though she looks a little like she does not want to be here and didn't mean to. ]

Doors again...

[ but when she spots akihiko she gives him a little nod. ]

[ziosar]

[Akihiko probably was hanging out in the mirror maze, trying to find the exit after being dragged here. Upon encountering Ramiel, Akihiko greeted her]

So, it's one of yours I'm going to see now...

[He was kind of curious, really! But he thought wrong. Ramiel wasn't the one getting a memory displayed openly, he was.

And so, the mirrors showed a memory. Rather introspective, all things considered. Akihiko really had been with doubts even when he was alive]

...alright, it was one of mine. It wasn't too bad of a time, back then. We all needed something to cheer ourselves up.

[hotfixer]

[ well this memory goes from cute to sweet to sad-but-sweet. she didn't know akihiko had a sister. or, well, anything about him really? she's still pretty wary of him from last time, but that was nice. ]

... That was kind of you.

week 3, monday

[ she is out here hanging out in the mirror maze! or next to it so they can walk in, whatever works ]

Hey, Akihiko. [ casual greeting as she looks around ] Something I can do for you?

[ziosar]

[Hmmmm...I think outside might work! Let's go in:]

Actually, yes. I wanted to figure out why the mirrors are doing that thing. Let me show you.

[He steps to the threshold, inviting her to come in with him. Truthfully, by now Akihiko is getting used to the fact memories show up. He's been taking them pretty well, despite some being painful. He's willing to let one of his memories show up, if it means Gamaliel getting to see what he means, and maybe figure out if this is something the influence ruining this redemption plan set up to try to push someone to kill.

His intent of getting some kind of explanation from Gamaliel about why this is happening probably will end up forgotten once a memory pops up, really, but oh well]

week 3, monday

[ she's at the mini golf course, giving it a go and sending a ball clear across the entirety of the fair. bye! but this course is next to the house of mirrors, at least. ]

Oh, Akihiko. Checking out the fair?

[ziosar]

[Akihiko stares at the golf clubs with a whole lot of wariness. These look like more normal golf clubs but he wouldn't be surprised if they bend and try to bite you. This heaven is so weird]

It's nothing like the fairs I'm used to. I'm used to many stalls, raffles, and good food. There aren't golf courses or places full of mirrors.

[It's kind of fun, despite how wary he might feel about it!]

I was actually on my way to getting in there. I heard it's a maze, and that makes me want to overcome it. There better not be monsters waiting inside, though.

[He's had enough of things trying to kill him in convoluted places, due to Tartarus]
