[ unfortunately there is kind of a wall, yeah. she's still wary after their interaction before, when he had called her out to the murder motivation tree, pulled a gun, asked for power, and insisted everyone was going to die before she had reason to believe that would be the case.
and being the only one who hears his doubts and frustrations when they're about the exact things she believes in and is working for doesn't exactly feel like a privilege. but... what he says does make her shoulders relax a little bit. ]
Well. At the very least, I prefer people bring their frustrations to me instead of taking it out on the other two.
... Is there something that you'd like to talk about?
[Honestly if Akihiko at any point of the game realized he gave pretty big reasons to make Ramiel be wary of him, he'd right away get in touch with Ramiel to apologize, but the thought he might have caused her to feel this towards him never crosses his mind. At the time was too centered on his own thoughts and frustration to notice he really didn't handle things with amazing social skill, whooops.
He probably won't figure that out by himself. Part of me wishes he would, but dang, it likely won't happen]
...I might, actually. It's about everyone who gets locked away in that tower. [The culprits, really] I haven't gone to visit any yet. Do you think it's a good idea to go visit them?
[So far, Akihiko had taken for granted that anyone who gets influenced into killing probably won't be in any state to talk, so he didn't bother, but after three killers he's starting to feel like he's ignoring something he should pay more attention to]
They can't hurt you from in there, so I think it's a good idea.
From what I've heard, it sounds like they're still... a little different from their usual selves while they're in there. And the more information we have to work with regarding their behavior, the better.
[A little different...Akihiko recalls what Marcoh once told him about Jing Yuan in the tower. Maybe 'a little different' is depending on the personality of whoever ends up there...]
So you haven't gone yet to visit any of the three so far?
[Lack of time, maybe? Their execution needs to be planned for the next day, after all! Protocols, they sure need to be met]
[ it's mg mechanics and none of them have asked for an audience with us but: ]
We have our own work to do, after the trials. Besides, I think you all know each other better than we do. If anyone can get something helpful out of them, I... doubt it would be us.
