No, it wasn't a normal psychic thing. I'm not a psychic. [ very much not a psychic. ] But it was at the heart of the ley line that ran through town. We found it one day while we were on a search for something else.

We were searching for the tomb of a Welsh king. The boys has been searching for some time before I asked to come along.

Because Gansey believed Glendower had saved his life when he was young, and so made it his mission to find him. Obsessively searching and pouring hours, days, even months into following the smallest of leads. To find him... whoever found the sleeping king would be granted a favor. A wish, really.

It was complicated in the end. I think seeing that what he was searching for come to a dead end might have affected him more than he wanted to say. But we had bigger problems at the end. We couldn't afford to waste more time. [ a pause. ] It's been months since then. We're all fine now.

That's good to hear. I never know when I should be nervous or concerned when you talk about things. So much seems to happen to you.
