So... it's hard not to get a little attached in close quarters like this and all, but I'll be more or less ready to cut loose in the end.

[ this might not be entirely the issue, but they will say it. ] When you know you're likely not going the same way, sometimes it feels easier to keep everybody at a distance. But I also don't think that's the way people should be living, even if I do it, too.
