...look, being here just makes it weird, all right? Sarkaz like me, we're used to people being temporary. There's decent odds any two people here are gonna end up totally different places! So... it's hard not to get a little attached in close quarters like this and all, but I'll be more or less ready to cut loose in the end.
... it doesn't help that attachments are kind of scary to begin with. [ this might not be entirely the issue, but they will say it. ] When you know you're likely not going the same way, sometimes it feels easier to keep everybody at a distance. But I also don't think that's the way people should be living, even if I do it, too.

I don't mind getting to know you guys and hanging out and listening to you. But I also know most of you are up for redemption and will be bouncing as soon as it's over. My feelings aren't hurt about that.
