It's some idea of paradise, yeah. Nicer than most places I've been lately, but it almost feels like I don't belong here sometimes. But sure, I remember my life before. I can't say I miss it though.

They might not get it until they die, but then you think about what their life was like before knowing that peace. It's understandable why people dream of a place like this.

That's the beauty of it, I guess. God decided you all can work for the same thing, but it doesn't have to be the same way because you're all different people. I've heard some stories from you guys already that was different than anything I've heard before. We have astronauts where I come from, but I've never been myself. It makes you think a lot about what's out there. So for you... what would count as paradise? And safety.
...Do you know what my greatest dream is, and has always been? It is not necessarily to finish my book, though that is very important to me. But... my greatest dream since I was a child has been to travel. To explore my country - the wide reaching Irian River, the majestic Vlder mountains - to travel with friends, up and down, from shore to shore. By day, we'd make our way across the land, and by night... we'd build a campfire, and sit around sharing food, drink, and stories.
I can think of nothing more sweet than that. The ability to achieve that dream - that would be freedom, for me.
[ the first thing they think is "you're writing a book?" and the next thing is probably more important, so they focus on that. the idea of being with people you get along with and spending time exploring together and seeing the world does sound nice. they have to admit that. ]
Having no agenda but your own, and having no metric of accomplishments but your own. Sounds like a pretty nice dream. Think it's attainable if you get back where you came from?
