If God's judgment is to be the final word in Heaven, then a just god is one that watches and evaluates fairly. It isn't a god who reviews a life and casts a judgment without understanding, and it isn't a god who automatically believes a person cannot change for better or worse. This project is unconventional. Heaven at large is aware, but the details are mine and mine alone. The experience is meant to be a brief period of time to recover from a loss of life, an assessment of your own existence and behavior, and a chance to continue should you wish. The proof is effort put into reflection, or at least showing your true nature, to determine how you may respond in various situations should you return from whence you came. A possession of this nature is not conducive to showing a person's true nature. My judgment is still on, and the trial cannot be stopped, but the criteria has been altered in light of the situation. It isn't fair to judge a person who has been pushed to a limit by outside resources. And shouldn't a god try to believe in fairness? My word is only good in this Heaven. When you died, you all fell into my domain, and I took it upon myself to keep you here to give you a chance to return. Many of you do not belong in this version of paradise. You should be given a different choice, if you wish to try and earn it.

As for the project, I agree that it is hardly fair to judge those who are subject to possession, and am relieved you think so. I do wonder, more than anything, if there is not something we can do to help those who are afflicted? The person who killed Zhongli, if we were to find them, I would want to help them rather than put a knife between their ribs. If there is nothing to do but kill them, it seems an utter waste. Unless perhaps there is instead hope that the souls we have lost could also be granted a second chance, if we were to recover them?
I don't think a person has to follow my particular set of values, specifically, to be granted a chance for a second chance. You all know the guidelines. What does it mean to be a good person? Will you be able to change for the better? There is no one, singular answer. Everyone will be judged individually. That was always the plan. At this time, removal of the afflicted is the safest course of action. Until we narrow down and remove the source, leaving them may cause a resonance we aren't prepared for. Silenced, but not withdrawn. Their souls will need to heal to completion in order to be as they once were. Did you really think I would simply abandon people for something that isn't their fault? Locating the lost souls, and returning them to this particular space, will be our next course of action.

I'm sure there are a few people who disagree. The plan was never very conventional, but the full details were not released to the entirety of Heaven for a reason.
