If Marcoh picks her up to carry her, he'll be afflicted with a sense of enormous foreboding that will haunt him as he continues on his journey, even after she disintegrates into dust in his arms. If he leaves her be, he can just witness as one of the nearby pillars falls upon her and crushes her to death.
He can also spot Olivia who he has known for a wholeass 1.5 days! Though perhaps in his memories of Arpechele, they knew each other better. In any case, she's on a quest of her own, trying to wheel her way out of a burning field, and with a 9, it is not going so well. However, if Marcoh tries to approach her, she wheels to face him and just attempts to shoot him in spite of the fact that she is super on fire and very obviously suffering. Where did she get that gun from! Good question!! In any case her aim is shit, so with a 4, he's just shot in the shoulder instead of anywhere more important.
At some point, Marcoh will also fall into the same acid river (11) and get trapped in a small hurricane of burning flower petals (12).]
