I GUESS HE'S GONNA TRY TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF FIDELIO. god his chest hurts so bad he is definitely bleeding worse from the movement of trying to defend himself but also punch fidelio into submission. i suppose i should roll for this. ]

The other is a series of handwritten letters. Seems like she never got to send them...

Also yeah go ahead and roll. I suppose Kiryu and Bas should be helping but Bas seems a touch hesitant even if he did just say the real Del would probably prefer this guy taken care of. Kiryu can assist you in attacking Doppelganger Fidelio on your roll. ]

[ she will pocket the key. the letters only get a glance; there's no time to read them right now.

and she'll run at fidelio, trying to grab one of his arms and twist it back and away from daigo's face. ]

[ 'Fidelio' has given up the speech it seems. His strange maw opens wide in Daigo's face. It smells awful, like rotting meat. It definitely looked like he was just about ready to bite his face off if it weren't for the timely intervention of Eupha yanking him back, Kiryu giving him a kick, and Daigo coming in with that REVERSAL COUNTER!!! Fidelio's claws do catch and gives Daigo a pretty nasty scratch up his jaw on the way but he slams down on the ground with a bit of a sickening crack. Uh-oh, he landed a bit weird and his neck should not be at that angle.

Even then, it still keeps giving a hollow wheeze, trying to grab at someone's ankles while his kitty tail weakly and awkwardly lashes, but it's getting weaker. Basilio visibly winces at this. ]

I can't watch this.

[ If neither of you do the honours, Bas will, with his kassara that I definitely didn't write as an axe in an early tag and then change my mind. ]

[ she stares in horror at the body, and then it grabs at her ankle as it weakly thrashes (gives her a little clawing as a treat yay)...

but yeah she'll give basilio the honour(??) of finishing it off. unless daigo really wants to. this is hard to watch for a lot of reasons. ]

[ daigo will be foe to people-turned-monster-animals and monster-animal-people alike. he can bear this burden. he certainly doesn't want to, but if it's too difficult for basilio, then yeah, sure, he'll fire into fidelio's mouth-face to put him out of his misery.

Neither Kiryu nor Bas can really help you with the Telelectroscope in terms of describing what it does. However at least the problem of turning it on seems as simple as a literal switch to be hit. ]

[ Basilio is just looking over the weird machine and wires, doing a funny pose to squint at it. What if I came over to your house and did this with you... The machines comes to life with a hum, electricity thrumming in the air. Eupha can feel it. Something guides her to perceive with her third eye.

Kiryu looks at the switch being turned on then at Eupha and Daigo who is recovering. It is a consumable item so I guess you will simply have to drink the entire thing. Use your cloth strips to stem your bleeding, all this thing does is recover your actual HP value. So I guess it's like drinking a Red Bull in that sense. What if this was all just Red Bull this entire time? ]

Did the body have anything?

[ daigo consumes whatever 5 hour energy drink this is. his hp is restored so he won't just pass out and die right here on the floor (hopefully).

Conveniently Eupha will be able to tap into her mind's eye, her Hacking Eye, and see an onslaught stream of code flowing down the Telelectroscope, which I normally just call the TES because trying to type that every single time gives me an aneurysm. There also seems to be a line of it passing through the floor, guiding her to the strange room to the south in the same space.

Kiryu just stands there occasionally looking at Daigo. He doesn't know how to make small talk. ]

he's happy to have an excuse to break away and follow eupha instead. ]

[ The code lines lead her to the strange room, which has some unlit candles, books, and perhaps interestingly, a pre-drawn ritual sigil in the middle of the room, but instead of the sigil of Rher as seen image, it's something considerably more traditional. For a brief moment, Eupha feels like she can see a glowing pink butterfly hovering over it that flutters away the moment they enter. Someone's sweet guiding hand was here...

There is an Otherworldly power that's thick in the air of this room. ]

Is this... a place for a ritual?

[ she'll take a look at the books to see if there are any clues to the room's purpose. ]

[ Eupha can find a book on Satanism I suppose. It tells her the sigil there is called a Pentacle, and defines the difference between a pentagram and a pentacle. The excerpt about this turns into an extremely long dissertation. The person writing this was immensely passionate about this topic. Either way you understand that this sign is definitely linked to Hell. It says that you should draw the sigil on a ritual circle to communicate with that particular deity and its realm, but fortunately for you somebody has already pre-drawn it.

Daigo, if he does intrinsically have knowledge, or uses his cop knowledge as Triceracops, can recognise it as the symbol of evil party overlord Satan. ]

Eupha's hackervision shows a whooole lot of 6's filling this room, condensing over the ritual circle itself. It definitely does seem like it is a way you can reach Satan's realm for sure! ]
