uruha walks to the exit with the bunny in his arms. he gets the strangest feeling, once he can see the night sky outside, that if he steps out, he won't be able to come back in.
LUCAS GOES ON A QUEST and, first of all, i hope he was walking on the tracks because at some point they are the only thing stopping him from falling into a pit of spikes. if he was not paying attention his foot can slip and he can stab himself in it before going back on his way. i just need you to know there's an unnecessary spike pit here. this would take longer if it wasn't 4am for me. he keeps going, determined to find the end with the mine cart.
good news: he does walk until he finds the mine cart at the very end of things! bad news: it crashed into the wall. the smell of smoke is that for some reason this set off a small fire, for comedy.
better news is that yves is still in the cart. now, is he aware? no. is he probably concussed if he's alive? yeah. can lucas still carry him out of spite? sure.
the best news is that there's a treasure at the end of this cart ride. it's a fucking first aid kit. please heal. ]

[i'm not rolling he can get stabbed in the random ass spike pit for funsies. BUT IT'S FINE. HE'S GOT THE YVES THAT HE'S SPITEFULLY CARRYING DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE'S SO FUCKED UP BY NOW AND HE'S GOT THE FIRST AID KIT so he's rushing back out once his adventure is done and going for the exit. Though he will hesitate for a second if he gets the same sensation that he won't be able to come back in because WHAT IF THEIR FUCKING PEOPLE ARE STILL IN HERE SOMEWHERE... But he isn't abandoning Uruha or his sweet child and frankly is not okay with leaving either of them alone for long given Uruha's current less than stellar state, on top of the fact that they don't even know if those two took the cave route in the FIRST PLACE, so he will rush out to join them with the Yves and the first aid kit.]
