[though for waner it's really more a matter of "these things are useless to me if i don't go back, and if i get caught, i won't be going back". they will be more tempting to her once she has more time to come up with a plan to fully get away with murder.]

But it's hard to describe. Getting close to the tree, I felt like I just knew that it was true... even though, with a clear mind, I know it shouldn't be. That is partly why I want it gone.

I can resist, even if I am tempted. But if some of the more volatile members of our group get close...

Maybe the idea then is to stay away from the tree if it feels that way. It's easy to avoid until we can understand more about what's happening, isn't it?

Putting a sign up to warn people away from it would probably result in more people approaching it out of curiosity, wouldn't it...
