[ i will help you ara and say i'm also not sure, i think she's supposed to be 18 even if the math isn't mathing. she's 18 for my own sanity.
anyway, she looks a little surprised. ]
Yeah? You may as well join me and Lucas whenever he feels like working on something. I said I'd teach him, too. It might be nice to have something to keep busy with. [ a nice distraction. but also... ] I don't mind teaching you alone, too.
I know. [ she hisses, because ooooughhh that drives her up a wall. but that is a whole other conversation. ]
I'd be happy to have both of you then. Lucas usually finds me on his own whenever, but... [ she tilts her head. ] I would like to get to know you better without him. As much as I like spending time with him. Am I allowed to do that, too?

Should I take that to mean you have a list of targets? [ she's on board? she's here to beat some sense into people who are actually great and don't think they are. ] We do still have several weeks, for better or worse.
[ but she does look pleased with that response. ]
I'm glad to hear that. There are still so many of you I feel like I only speak to on Saturdays anyway, and those are... obviously not our best moments. For anyone.
I do, I do. Jiaoqiu is pretty high on the list. [ adolphe but he's dead. ] Daigo. Koharu. [ she can go on. ] We'll have to do our best in these next few weeks.
[ she turns the pillow around in her hands. ]
It's some of the only times we're all gathered together. People can leave a party. [ jacopo. ] People can't really leave Saturdays, but I want to make memories to balance out the weekend, so here I am~
I've never spoken to Daigo, but how funny that your list is the same as mine. And perhaps add Marcoh to that, too. [ it's not funny, she wants to grab all of these men (and koharu) by the shoulders and shake them. ] But so long as people are willing to try, I think it counts for something.
It's true though. People can't really leave a trial, but I don't think the trials should be the ending notes of a Saturday either. It often feels like poor taste to try and do something light afterwards, but I don't want people to be miserable either. I try to stay out of the way unless you come to find us. [ so, what she's saying is "thank you." ] I think that's a good strategy. Better memories to balance the horrific ones.
I'll push him to talk to you. Maybe he'll listen. Marcoh could use it, too. You're right. [ man, they have so many people to attack with love. ] I'm always happier when people try. Resiliency is one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed.
[ she loves it when people can still stand up after a huge tragedy. ]
It's the bad and the good that make us who we are, so I don't want to ignore any part of it, but even if I don't want to ignore the bad, I want one to outweigh the other, just a little bit. [ maybe more than a little bit. ] I always thought you three wouldn't want to be around us after having to watch us for nine hours almost failing to find to find a culprit.
You think? Sometimes I get the feeling some of you are less likely to listen now that you can see us. [ given they all appear to be teenage-ish girls. ] I have been trying with Marcoh, but progress remains to be seen. I think I can agree with you though. Resiliency is what gets people through these times. It's what I want to keep inspiring in people while I'm here. If I can.
[ this is a very fair thing to consider, actually. ]
Admittedly, there are some of you I'd rather not see after nine hours. But I also can't say everything that happens in those nine hours are entirely your fault. It's a short amount of time to solve anything at all.
Because you all appear young? You'll have to remind them that all the thousands and hundreds years old people here also look quite young. Age is a number and not always wisdom.
[ she reaches for zuriel's hands to clasp in hers, if she lets elysia. ]
I'm so glad to have someone who thinks the same.
[ INSPIRE RESILIENCE. IT'S ROMANTIC. ]
Hehe, some people do get heated and like to say things without thinking. It's difficult to let go when someone's life is one the line.
[ yeah she's 100% cool with holding hands, she does nothing to stop this. ]
That is a very good point. I know a few people whose age really don't match their thoughts at all, and vice versa. [ but there is a slight smile to that. ]
Now if we could only convince other people to feel the same, hm? [ she knows people do, but still. some of you do make things complicated... ] I don't blame people for being upset during the trials themselves. But I also think it should be more important to try and think things through before everyone makes a mistake they'll regret. If that day comes, I don't know how to bring people back from that.
Part of it depends on them and how they want to move forward after falling into regret. For anything that can't be fixed or reversed, we can only try to support them to keep them from wallowing too much. It might not always be possible, but we're all as resilient as we are fragile.

[ when they talk about other people, at least. ]
Can you teach me how to knit like you next? I'd like to do something together.
[ desperately trying to remember how old blue is ]

[ that is the most different thing between them.
if it's not one virche, it's another. that makes her laugh a little. ]
If it's easier to do it all together, I'd be happy to do that. I like seeing Lucas try to do things that require delicacy. We can cheer each other on.

I feel the same way. I only hope I or someone else can get through to him before we all have to leave. Him and a few others.
[ there are so many people here with no self-love or self-worth and she's trying so hard. ]
Of course you are. [ she smiles. ] I'd be happy for you to get know me better, as happy as I'd be to get to know you better.

Are you used to acting as support for the people around you? Sounds like you have enough experience to know what may or may not work.
