Hehe, some people do get heated and like to say things without thinking. It's difficult to let go when someone's life is one the line.

That is a very good point. I know a few people whose age really don't match their thoughts at all, and vice versa. [ but there is a slight smile to that. ]
Now if we could only convince other people to feel the same, hm? [ she knows people do, but still. some of you do make things complicated... ] I don't blame people for being upset during the trials themselves. But I also think it should be more important to try and think things through before everyone makes a mistake they'll regret. If that day comes, I don't know how to bring people back from that.
Part of it depends on them and how they want to move forward after falling into regret. For anything that can't be fixed or reversed, we can only try to support them to keep them from wallowing too much. It might not always be possible, but we're all as resilient as we are fragile.
