I think what's most important is making sure that the problems I mentioned aren't released again. I think I'd prefer to get rid of the power to make certain that's the case.
They don't. Think of it this way. Your own home where you're from is one pond of water. And this version of heaven is a separate pond. Our god is an axolotl, and the gods of your worlds are fish. They can't join each other's ponds in order to sway or influence what happens even if they're existing alongside each other.
I imagine because a god none of you recognize would be a less biased judge of your character. If it was a particular god from your world, their benchmarks could be different from the god of another world, screwing somebody else over. Here, you all kind of start on the same level.
I don't think there's anything specific God is getting out of it. Judgement is part of their job either way. Maybe after so much time doing this they realized there was something else they could try. I would think that most people who arrive here would want to be in heaven, but after the last couple of days I'm thinking otherwise.
Pretty straightforward, really. God asked for our help, we said yes. I'm sure we all have different reasons to say yes but it didn't make sense to leave you all to your own devices for eight weeks.

[thinking about that for a moment]

[pausing for a moment]
I had a few more questions instead, if that's alright.

Yeah, more or less. It all happened around the same time.
