Are you at all familiar with the story this place seems to be based on?

It's kind of giving Alice in Wonderland vibes, isn't it?

Oh good, you are. That makes things a lot easier to explain rather than having to explain why this place is so bizarre-looking. I think we picked this island mostly for the nature around it, but it's still strange.

I had to check. I know we've talked about it before, but I never know what media actually reaches where. [ we really do have so few moderns, jesus. ]

I think this is the first place that's really similar to something more fictional.

But Wonderland is really popular in general, isn't it? You find it pretty much everywhere.

I suppose. [ this is difficult to say because she really does not know as much about the rest of the world as she'd like. but back to the train we are (close enough) as she diverts to head toward the courtyard. ]

There are a lot of popular things I don't really know about, or care much about. I guess I don't know what other people care about or reference half the time.

Believe me, that helps a lot more than you think. [ haha. ] Every now and then I feel as though I'm going crazy and speaking in tongues around everyone else.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being weird. [ says the girl probably currently wearing an oversized shredded t-shirt as a dress with lace tights, boots, and fishnet arm warmers in a different color. ] But this is a lot even for me. I guess all types can make it to heaven though.

What's the weirdest thing you've heard from someone so far?

Hm... It's a toss-up between others having powers– [ says local supernatural being ] –or the flowers that curse people to die.

[ she's about to comment about the powers, but then she says something more concerning and she raises both eyebrows. ]

Who do we know that has deadly flowers? [ she has a hunch but she is now concerned it's even more people. ]

It... was Yves who was telling me about them, but he said it like they might not be around anymore.

I wonder what changed. [ idly. she will have to ask sometime, maybe. ] A lot of things I've heard about their home aren't exactly inspiring.

I think Yves likes being happy around the people he wants to see happy. But I don't think that's a bad thing either. We need that little bit of optimism still.

We definitely could! I couldn't name a brighter person among us now.

I think some of you have been very good at holding onto the better things over the last few weeks. [ which is nice, because you all need it. ] But I don't think I could name a brighter person either. I just have to hope that brightness doesn't burn out for any of you.

... Do you think it's going to keep happening every week?

I don't want it to. [ which wasn't her question, and her expression matches a bit. ] We're doing everything we can to try and find the source. But it's difficult when heaven's so expansive. I would like to find a way to prevent it though. Whatever that looks like.

Some of the others have been suspecting something is interfering with us on purpose.

... we know it's something, but the "what" remains unseen. Not to mention "how." Those are our biggest questions. [ and it's bad. ] What have people been saying?
