I think some of you have been very good at holding onto the better things over the last few weeks. [ which is nice, because you all need it. ] But I don't think I could name a brighter person either. I just have to hope that brightness doesn't burn out for any of you.

... Do you think it's going to keep happening every week?

I don't want it to. [ which wasn't her question, and her expression matches a bit. ] We're doing everything we can to try and find the source. But it's difficult when heaven's so expansive. I would like to find a way to prevent it though. Whatever that looks like.

Some of the others have been suspecting something is interfering with us on purpose.

... we know it's something, but the "what" remains unseen. Not to mention "how." Those are our biggest questions. [ and it's bad. ] What have people been saying?

... Well, nobody is any more sure of what it is than you are, I'm sure. Though, Richie was telling me he thinks if there's a heaven, then there's a hell too, right? So that maybe there's something from that side of things that wants to interfere with what we're doing here.

Heaven and hell have been separated for millennia. The idea of something from there interfering now seems... pointless? Maybe not pointless, but strange.

Aren't they always at odds with each other? At least in the stories, anyway.

So I've heard. [ local angel isn't religious. ] But it's been so long that they have stayed in their own lanes and left each other alone.

So then... It wouldn't make sense for something to happen now?

It's sort of like... what would be the point, you know? Nothing's actually changed, so to do it so randomly doesn't track at all.

We'll hopefully find some lead soon. Everything is going to take time, but it doesn't make sense to me either.

Is there anything we could do to help...?

Just stick with us. I know it's difficult and I know there isn't a lot to trust right now, but we have to stay together. All of us. That's the best I can think of right now.
