I did kinda get that from when we talked about it before... I'm a little surprised that it's odd to you.

It's infinite freedom. Work if you want it, if it fulfills you, but more time for hobbies. Infinite more people to meet and time to spend with them. You can be whoever you want to be and do whatever you want to do.

I'm used to people choosing that.

But perhaps too many of you feel duty-bound to your old lives.

Hm... Putting it that way, it does sound perfect, huh. I can at least see why that would be the more popular option—outside of us anyway, it seems.

And it sounds like you got a whole lot of people who don't want to start over yet.

I suppose it makes some sense.

They don't have any attachment to Heaven. They do have an attachment to their old lives.

... Yeah, I would say that's what it comes down to. Not that I can speak for everyone, but it's a feeling I know well.

We're trying to give everyone a little slice of Heaven so they wouldn't be going in blind. But in the interest of avoiding overwhelming them, it still isn't painting as vivid a picture as I think might help.

Do you think so? It might still be a good taste. It doesn't seem like we're responsible for anything, and we have all our needs met.

Sure, but people need people. The social element is important. You all have each other, but that's just the same as your lives before this—a matter of proximity. Luck. A small number.

In Heaven, there are so many more people to get to know. So many more potential connections to make.

Which is why we can't just push you out there. We have to take it slow.

... There's a lot of room in Heaven too. It's not as if it's crowded or anything.

I'm used to big, crowded spaces, really. But keeping up with a lot of people... is a lot!

You would still be able to decide how much you want to. People still live in different neighborhoods, different islands.

It does sound nice, but maybe... it's something for when it's really my time to go.

Yeah. Unless something really changes about you after judgment day, you'll be able to come later.

Then that's not so bad, is it? Everyone can live out the lives they want first.

I wonder though if it's just increasing your attachment to a world you have finite time in. When instead, you could be adapting to the place that you'll spend much longer in, in the end.

Huh? But... of course it's finite—isn't that what makes our time there more precious?

I'm... probably just assuming things, but I was just thinking—that maybe you didn't have a good experience in life. Or... something like that.
