Not like, personally. Sometimes there's ducks at the parks, but out in the city there's mostly only smaller birds.

As far as I know they're all a little crazy like that if they feel seen. But at least it's gone?

I'm not sure. Animals tend to appear around heaven at different times. You've seen the birds and things over in Whoville, haven't you?

Oh, yeah, I have! Maybe it wasn't so happy about finding itself in some unfamiliar place, then.

That's a thought. It left on its own after a while, didn't it? Maybe it realized it was mad at the wrong person and decided to try and find its way back. I doubt I'd be that happy if I were lost and so many people started attacking me, too.

That's true. It could have been one big misunderstanding.

It's gone now, so we won't have to worry about it again. That's the most we can hope for.

And hopefully that elsewhere is far from here. [ shaking their head. speaking of far... ] I was going to head to Whoville to try and catch the tail end of Valentine's Day. Wanna come?

I could use the break after that! Sure thing—trying to get some last minute chocolates?

Hah! I should, shouldn't I? [ it would be funny, but. ] No, I want to pick up some more flowers for a few projects I'm doing. They're fresh, but they're already cut. I'd rather not use the ones from the garden.

Art projects mostly. I've been teaching Taair how to make bookmarks, and I want to make a couple of other arrangements and pressed flowers for different things. Easy things.

That makes sense! Come to think of it, I bet the bouquets would make for some nice dried flowers, too.

Yeah, see? Maybe get some nice ones to preserve and keep in the lobby of your mansion. What do you think?

That's a good idea! Some for the lobby and some for our room. I know Maomao likes having plants around.

Doesn't she prefer them alive? I haven't really gotten to know her that well, but it sounds like you've spoken to her a little more.

Maybe, if she want to do other things with them, I think. She's been pretty open to decorating our room too though.

So I take it that means the two of you are actually getting along pretty decently. Open to compromise in decorating is good.

I would say so! We haven't had any disagreements—she's been good to talk to, if anything.

That's probably the best thing when it comes to a roommate. Communication's important, and if you enjoy her company that's a step above... a few other people here, apparently.
