[ over in the flower garden part of olive garden, zuriel is hanging out at the koi pond. but she waves koharu over when she spots her. ]

Hey. Happy to have everyone back?

[ Yay, nature. Koharu is happy to wander on over. ]

It's a huge relief, that's for sure! It makes everything feel like it might finally be over.

Right? Less things to worry about and we're back on course. I wish it had been sooner, but... there's no sense in wasting time wishing things had been different. It's been so busy here as is.

I bet, especially with things wrapping up soon, huh?

Yeah. I know a lot of you are starting to figure out where you might go after all of this is over. Especially with so many different options of worlds and timeperiods.

[cupidsammo]

... That reminds me. Can I ask you something?

Remember when you said the others' wouldn't suddenly forget I exist once we're out of here? Um... Just like, hypothetically—do you know if they would still be able to see me, too?

[batterypack]

Oh. [ oh, she can see why she's asking. ] ... they've met you, and they would remember you. So I don't see why not. It almost works the same way as it did with us, I imagine. Everyone's eyes adjusted.

[cupidsammo]

—Really?

[ she brightens up ]

So it should be fine... That's a relief.

It should be perfectly fine. If you ever get the chance to see them again somehow, they'll be right there and able to see you as you are.

Yves was asking me about Japan, actually. I don't know if he'll really come, but that worry did come up...

Of course it was Yves. But I can see why it would be a concern. It won't be though. They've all adjusted to you, so even if so much time has passed it feels impossible, it will still happen.

That makes this way easier... I was worried I'd have to wait until I become human again!

[batterypack]

Oh, absolutely not. [ she sounds appalled by this idea. ] If anything, it'll be almost like you never were apart. No adjustment periods or anything, just the passage of time.

Then if things work out that way... Haa— I suppose we'll see.

[batterypack]

If he does make his way over there, you'll have to tell me. I want to hear about what's happening in your version of Earth.

... Would I be able to do that?

I believe God's looking into making sure Chipper stays active for all of you, at least. Being able to send messages is still faster than writing letters, or waiting until an opportunity comes to see each other again.

—No way! So that means we're keeping our phones, too?

I know it's something God was looking into, at least. Given the circumstances.

W- whoa... I was really getting ready to say goodbye for good good, too.

I imagine it's a little surprising, and I know in the end it's really not the same... but it helps, maybe. Knowing that's an option.

No, it's a good thing! Isn't it better than not having anything at all?

I think so. It counts more than you might think, like talking to a long-distance friend. You don't lose touch so easily that way.
