Remember when you said the others' wouldn't suddenly forget I exist once we're out of here? Um... Just like, hypothetically—do you know if they would still be able to see me, too?
batterypack: (Oh! Oh no! Oh no...oh no...oh)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-02 08:09 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. [ oh, she can see why she's asking. ] ... they've met you, and they would remember you. So I don't see why not. It almost works the same way as it did with us, I imagine. Everyone's eyes adjusted.

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-02 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
—Really?

[ she brightens up ]

So it should be fine... That's a relief.
batterypack: (Who likes the things you do)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-02 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
It should be perfectly fine. If you ever get the chance to see them again somehow, they'll be right there and able to see you as you are.

[ a nod ]

Yves was asking me about Japan, actually. I don't know if he'll really come, but that worry did come up...
batterypack: (Stuck in the jet wash)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-02 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course it was Yves. But I can see why it would be a concern. It won't be though. They've all adjusted to you, so even if so much time has passed it feels impossible, it will still happen.

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-02 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[ yaaay ]

That makes this way easier... I was worried I'd have to wait until I become human again!
batterypack: (Take this pink ribbon off my eyes)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-03 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, absolutely not. [ she sounds appalled by this idea. ] If anything, it'll be almost like you never were apart. No adjustment periods or anything, just the passage of time.
cupidsammo: (pic#17691167)

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-03 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
Then if things work out that way... Haa— I suppose we'll see.
batterypack: (take a good look at me)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-03 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
If he does make his way over there, you'll have to tell me. I want to hear about what's happening in your version of Earth.
cupidsammo: (pic#17454163)

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-03 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
... Would I be able to do that?
batterypack: (I just want to make a change)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-03 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
I believe God's looking into making sure Chipper stays active for all of you, at least. Being able to send messages is still faster than writing letters, or waiting until an opportunity comes to see each other again.

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-03 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
—No way! So that means we're keeping our phones, too?
batterypack: (It has no appeal)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-03 07:48 am (UTC)(link)
I know it's something God was looking into, at least. Given the circumstances.
cupidsammo: (pic#17564921)

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-03 04:39 pm (UTC)(link)
W- whoa... I was really getting ready to say goodbye for good good, too.
batterypack: (I'm now becoming)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-03 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I imagine it's a little surprising, and I know in the end it's really not the same... but it helps, maybe. Knowing that's an option.
cupidsammo: (pic#17732329)

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-03 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
No, it's a good thing! Isn't it better than not having anything at all?
batterypack: (And I still feel that rush in my veins)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-03 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I think so. It counts more than you might think, like talking to a long-distance friend. You don't lose touch so easily that way.
cupidsammo: (pic#17464129)

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-04 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
I don't find that so weird. It's pretty common to keep it touch with people mostly online where I'm from, anyway!
batterypack: (When your last remains are few)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-04 07:08 am (UTC)(link)
Obviously we have the internet and everything, too. I don't have my own phone, but it's normal. I know for some of you it might be a new concept though.
cupidsammo: (pic#17684871)

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-05 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
That's true...

... How many of them will even have a way to charge their phones...
batterypack: (I've seen are dead)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-05 03:07 pm (UTC)(link)
... [ ...hm. ] We'll talk to God about making sure the battery life is sustainable until you all come back here.
cupidsammo: (pic#17464141)

[personal profile] cupidsammo 2025-04-06 03:32 pm (UTC)(link)
An eternal battery life... The heaven-assigned phones are already better than human ones!
batterypack: (And washed it away down the kitchen sink)

[personal profile] batterypack 2025-04-06 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
No bill to pay, no need to charge... what else could make them better, really? But I think it will take a bit of finagling and that's why they haven't promised it yet. Better to know for certain than to say so and disappoint later.
