That's optimistic. [ they do not say it like it's a bad thing, but they definitely say it in a way that says they cannot relate ] Thinking the best of people means you fit in with the thought behind this pretty well, though.

Yeah. Believing the best in people sort of goes hand-in-hand with that. [ they kick at the sand ] And I do believe in second chances. But some people I'll never forgive, either, so maybe it's a good thing I'm not the one running this place.

If you can't forgive someone, it just shows how deeply you care about something or someone else.

But... I guess so. I'd like to attempt redemption, if that's what my friends are doing.

There is... a case that I think I would consider something else, even if I'm not sure I would choose it.

It would be anything that would let me get rid of my scar.

I'm not sure what that is... but there was a way to remove it back home - I just didn't have enough money for the process, and then it became too hard to access for other reasons.

I... don't like telling people because sometimes they try to cast blame on someone who doesn't deserve it. Or they start to pity me, or it just... makes them sad.
