I suppose I don't relish the idea of having to take the stand in my own favor.
To feel deserving of something only to be struck down is a worse fate to me. Hoping it could be different, only to find out otherwise.

I am comfortable enough advocating for others.

And I won't argue for or against any metric you have decided to set, that isn't exactly my place. If there are those who do not wish to receive it, that is their choice - and sometimes people prize a choice above all. I suppose that's what I felt, when I asked for Hawke's judgment. I chose to surrender myself in that moment rather than be tried by any Chantry court.

I imagine for some it is the same.

What happens to them, if the ruling is not in their favor?
