So, I figured-- what the hell! I'll do that until I decide what else to do with these. Turns out passing them to other people is about all I've come up with.
Oh. [ just. oh. they hold a flower with one hand, and the other is currently covering their mouth as their elbow's planted on the countertop. through the hazy glow, she can see their eyes close for a second as if they're recomposing themselves for a moment. ]
Giving and receiving flowers is kind of a luxury, sometimes. But I've heard of people saving them, too. It's not a bad idea. [ and it's not a bad idea to pass them to other people, too, as long as she keeps a few for herself. ]
I just thought... you know. You might not mind having one or two yourself.
[she didn't miss the fact they actually showed up today, or how they were doing yesterday; she isn't exactly looking the other way as they compose themselves, but she leaves them be about it.]
I know, I know. [ they do in fact know what to expect from her, but they are cradling the flowers to put them somewhere safe. ]
But yeah, sure. I'm gonna send my own delivery over I think. They'll probably get some use out of it. Got stuff in mind, or you just wanna grab what looks good?
Yeah, Zhongli asked for some wine I made him while he was still here. And Charlie mentioned some stuff so I've been supplying what I can.

Not so sure about Saber, but Lucas has a damn strong tolerance. No matter what I gave him he held on. I was thinking some nice wines though. I don't know if he'd think to do a mixer by himself. But I do have a good bottle of bourbon I could pass along.
Yeah, I was definitely thinking wine. That's usually what Yves would go for... the bourbon's not a half bad idea either, probably? Even if it doesn't get used as a mixer, I think it's pretty good on its own.
Yeah. I can do that. [ just. lifts the piece of the bar that allows her behind the counter if she wants to come help while they grab a box to start loading it with bottles. never mind that their hands are shaking a little, but they seem to know where everything is. ]
Probably good idea to send regular beer to them, too, right? Easy, social drinking material.

Yeah, this felt pretty personal. On both sides, actually, but I've never really spoken to Uruha. [ lucas is a different story. ] It's just... pretty messed up knowing he might've gone out still thinking this had to happen. That he was saving them? This must've felt like an even bigger punishment than he was prepared for and...
It's just-- fucked up. Especially turning his sister against him the way it did. Whether or not he died still thinking he did what he had to do, dying after hearing her say that...
[her grip on their hands tightens enough to make her wince and let go. she forgot her fucking arm injuries.]
Yeah. [ this time, the "yeah" is heavy, a sort of dark emotion that betrays their anger at this situation playing with people like this but also the despair of how it must have felt. ] He loves her more than anything, so to use her as further ammo was just... bad.

I'm really getting sick of this "oh I've had worse" crap all of you pull on me. It's fine to say this sucks, or that it hurts, or that it's deeper than physical injuries. [ thanks. ] ... should I ask about this most recent trip, or no?
