What's the saying? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me? Maybe... no. Even if we should have expected something to happen none of us could have ever imagined it'd be this.
Maybe blocking it out-? I don't know. He seemed like he couldn't tell anything was wrong, he just thought he needed to get to them before something else did. Said he never meant to cause them harm.
Okay but that doesn't make any sense. Just because we know they're safe there for now that doesn't mean killing them is the answer. Especially when we have to still bring them back.
It could even be both, with as little as we really understand how possession works. [ ...but. ] None of it changes the fact that this is what's happened, and we're going to lose him tomorrow, too.
Yves was well-liked. Saber and Jacopo had their places here, too. Things were already bad because of Claude, and now with Lucas... I'm worried everyone really is going to run out of hope before we hit judgement day. And I don't think the answer is "throw another party."
[ the last part is just an aside, she never believed throwing parties was the answer to begin with, but still. ]
Yeah, it's not, but I don't know that there's really an answer at all? Not until there's something we can actually do about it, besides sentencing each other to death.
God's likely going back into the trenches to rework things now that this happened. Until we find some resolution about Lucas, they'll be preoccupied. But there aren't many places to look, and then it's about protecting this place and the people in it.
We're... trying to work out the finer details of what you may be able to do. What's safe, and what's warranted. Knowing how many of you want to handle the situation yourself is one thing, but knowing about how to make that happen just yet is another.

Like he was killing them to save them from becoming possessed?
