[ in the candy laboratory, observing the ingredients and lab stuff with interest ]

I know they say baking is a science, but this seems a little on the nose. [ waves in greeting at w after this joke ]

It kind of is, huh?

[she leans in a little, peering at the ingredients.]

Wonder if any of 'em are interesting.

Wanna test it out?

Candy chemistry's new for me too. [ shaking one of the little flasks like oooo ]

[sarkazm]

Obviously!

[she picks one up at random. let's go.]

[ this is candy/baking chemistry so obviously the first thing that happens to them is

baking soda volcano ]

Oh, wait, I know this one.

[ FIZZES ]

[sarkazm]

-oh, that one's a little fun. What if we add to it?

[the vial she picks up turns out to be just dye, though, turning the fizz red.]

Now it looks like more like lava. [ a reference she won't get. ] It's been way too long since my sixth grade science experiments.

[sarkazm]

Yeah? How far into school is that, anyway...? I never went.

[configurer]

At all? [ Huh. ] I was about twelve. Most people go to school until a little into their twenties.

[sarkazm]

Nope! Didn't read or anything until Hoederer made me learn...

[this may explain a few things.]
