Yes, and yes! On both counts! It's a treasure. My favorite kind of histories are the ones in the words of those who lived them - not from an outside perspective. It should help me fill out the Vlderian section of my history, at least a little bit.

Their society is really interesting, even if it isn't my usual focus area. I hoped to meet a Vlderian one day, but, well. I've met Jiaoqiu, and Fidelio and Basilio, and they have their own fascinating, wondrous stories too, so, I certainly cannot complain.

Vlder's history is a bit like Iria's, in that there is not very much of it that's been written down in an accessible manner...or, well, there isn't to outsiders. In a perfect world, perhaps the Vlderians and Irians can settle into a period of peace, and it might be wonderful to meet their historians, should they have them. We could have such wonderful discourse.
