It's been difficult. [ she's willing to be honest. ] I can't decide if I'm angry or sad most of the time, and then I look at all of you and realize how this continues to be unfair. It's so much more obvious now several of you are gone.
I suppose you're right in that. We know the cycle will continue so long as the entity is out there, and no amount of work feels satisfactory to any of us until this is stopped completely. [ ... ] It's hard to say goodbye to people we've spent time with, but perhaps harder trying to pick up the pieces and watch you all struggle with the losses. But... that's true, too.
I would say that we are. I know in many ways it may not seem like it's a lot, but there is progress. And there are ways to make more progress if things work the way they should. But even the best laid plans can be a bit disjointed. That's where it's important for people to try different things.
Certainly. I would say they would be fairly useful ones... I can detect the presence and location of fiends, celestials, and aberrations for one thing. [so that would have been helpful probably.] And I can cast protection spells against certain types of magic, cure afflictions and curses, grant resistance to certain conditions like fear or being charmed, heal...
Beyond that, it's my training is mostly in offensive spells, or things that add additional damage when I'm fighting with a melee weapon.

Well, first it was used to murder Anders, and then he used it to murder Hawke, and then we both went on a sort of killing spree and he used it to murder Hawke, Kaworu, and someone Richie knows from his past, and then he was carrying it around covered in old blood for weeks, so I took it.
