In life you meet people by chance. By proximity, mostly, especially in worlds without the technological advancements necessary to bridge people across long distances. People care about those close to them, and should, but statistically, I find the odds of finding people you'll truly love slim.
But Heaven does have that technology, and more. As well as more people than any single world. There are infinitely more opportunities to meet people and connect with them. Infinitely more people to meet.
Heaven isn't endless bliss. There would be no purpose to continuing to exist if it was. But it's more free time. More time for your passions. More people to meet, more chances to find those you'll truly love. No more fear of death, no more endings you aren't prepared for. So long as it doesn't harm others you can do whatever you want to do. You can be whoever you want to be.

I don't think that it would be a sorry afterlife.

[a small huff of laughter.]
And maybe they don't need me, back home. But I did want to try there.

[ pauses like they want to talk her out of it, though. ]

[that does all sound nice, but she would have no idea what to do with herself.]
I don't know who I am, or what I want. I don't know how to just exist like that.

It's something you could figure out in life. It's also something you could figure out in death. There is a world of possibility either way.
