I'm used to sharing quarters, really. It was more of an adjustment to become used to being alone. But it's odd to think how quickly we did adjust to our numbers dwindling so much.
The mansion started out so loud, and then as weeks passed it was harder and harder to think of what it once was. I think... in a crisis like this, perhaps people felt there really wasn't an option but to adapt, you know? You all hardly had time to react to anything before the next thing happened.
If God doesn't decide to try again? Or even if he does and decides on new employees, I'll head back to be with my friends again. I did sort of leave them without telling them where I was going. But since the time can be adjusted they won't realize I've been gone.
I don't see why not. Knowing that all of this was caused by an Entity that was never meant to be here in the first place, and knowing that next time he'd be the one doing all of the direct hiring and management, it might work out better. We would still have the same ability to return home at the end as if no time has passed. And I like being useful. I've liked being able to meet you all and see what you've learned about yourselves.
Yes. [ 100% agree, and there's a soft sigh. ] Personally, I do hope this hasn't discouraged him too much from trying again because the idea is still a decent one. But we'll see how he feels at the end of this run. It might take a while to regroup.
