[ ramiel can be found sitting at the train stop! though the train runs often enough, they don't seem to actually be waiting for it in particular. just enjoying the morning sun and the view! they turn to maomao and probably give her a bright smile. but who can tell through the glow? oh well. ]

Good morning. [ she's distracted by the train... ] I haven't seen anything like that before.

They're a very fast, convenient method of transportation! Would you like to ride it together?

[ yay! they board the train. ]

[ and they give a little affirmative nod to that question, not answering in words because they know that they are about to magically doze off. maomao does too because that's how trains work here.

and then they wake up! welcome to bikini bottom!! ]

[ getting up on the train and just taking it all in! she's been in carriages before, but this is much much bigger.

she is about to ask more, but there they both go....dozing off.

she blinks a few times once they wake up though and looks out the window. wao ]

Ah. How long were we out for?

Most trains—sorry, trains in the living realms—don't make you fall asleep.

week 1, tuesday

[ gam is hanging out in the library! they're sitting down and don't have any books pulled up, though, they seem to be looking at something on an old clunky laptop that has a bunch of stickers on it. one of the sticker looks like a logo that says NERD. important.

they'll give a little wave when they spot maomao but are clearly not expecting a conversation since they go back to their laptop after ]

[ while maomao's canon doesn't stick to it's era of inspiration, nerd is definitely a word she doesn't know.

she will come over to inspect the device! is it rude to look at their screen? ]

What kind of device is this?

[ they do not hide their screen!

it is literally a HACKER VOICE IM IN type of screen. black with nonsense green writing. Unhelpful ]

That's a laptop. Portable computer.

I don't know what a computer is either. Is it something useful?

[ zuriel is at the christmas market in the morning, idly browsing the stalls and particularly looking at some of the winter accessories for sale. but they do turn and nod in greeting upon realizing they aren't alone. ]

[ she will give a polite bow in return ]

Good morning. Are you looking for something in particular?

Not in particular, no. I just wanted to see what they had available, you know? Maybe get some inspiration.

[ but they drop a set of mittens in their hands. ]

Maomao, right?

Inspiration for what?

[ with the cat has mittens... she is going to look at the mittens before looking back at Zuriel. Is she carrying their shopping? ]

That's right.

[ a nod of acknowledgment. they can remember the name. also no they dropped the mittens back in the stall and are holding their own things, even if they blend in with their glowing light. we are independent! ]

Making my own mostly. I have more yarn than I thought so I want to see what else I can do with it.

[ ramiel is in the lobby. they don't notice maomao at first which is funny because they are clearly trying to be sneaky as they inch over... and take one of the marshmallows from the bowl that's been left out.

yummy...

but then they spot maomao and suddenly have to chew and swallow very quickly and play innocent. ]

Oh! Hello. Hi.

[... pfft. moamao will come over to pick one up to place in her own mouth as well. ]

You shouldn't eat something before someone verifies if it's safe.

Oh, we've been here longer. Stuff like that doesn't get to us as much because we've had more time to adapt to it.

That's good then. [ maoamo 🤝 angels eating strange things to adapt to it ]

While I'm sure others have already asked, I did want to speak to you about the weekend and what it means for the rest of our stay here.

[ ......... wipes their fingers on their legs real quick, then stands with their hands behind their back. ]

We haven't yet found any precedent for this happening before, but we don't see any reason that it would happen again. We're still looking into the matter, but you can rest easy for the remainder of your stay here. While this was a tragedy, we do still want you to focus on your own journeys of redemption.

[ that's funny... are they trying to look more professional? she will pretend she didn't see ]

You have said so yourself that this is a trial run. Could there be a possibility of sabotage or something corrupting a person here?

[ it would help if she knew how... this whole thing worked but at the same time wrapping her brain around magic is difficult ]
