[ she's hanging out at the cat cafe, settled on the ground with a book and a cat in her lap when uruha walks in. ]

[walks in and looks over at her...]

There really is always someone in here at all times, huh.

[not complaining, just an observation. truly everyone loves this cafe.]

Can you really say no to such cute little faces? [ the kitty in her lap blinks up at uruha sleepily with a little mrow? ]

[crouches down to peer at the kitty.]

The dogs in the dog car are going to be jealous at this rate...

[batterypack]

[ the kitty mewls again. ]

They shouldn't, I plan to go visit them next. Are you more of a dog person or a cat person?

[thinks...]

I like 'em both, I guess?

You guess. [ so funny. the cat gets up and does a biiiiig stretch before trotting over to wind around uruha's ankles. ] I feel like most people are finding the cafe and the corgi car to be a bit of stress relief. Animals can be very healing.

[kumeyuri]

I don't think that much about animals, since I didn't interact with 'em often back home. But they're cute.

[he nods.]

I know Shadowheart-san has been putting up bans against people getting them involved in murder...

Given everything you've been doing at home I suppose that isn't surprising. Anyway she's right. They're animals, they should be kept out of harm's way when they can't even defend themselves. Though it would be nice to put a ban on murder all together.

If only we could do that much. But yeah, at least we can try to do little things like this.

I'm not above the idea of setting traps outside of every single doorway to try and stop a culprit, actually. Maybe it would slow someone down enough to give the other person a chance to hide. They would just have to make it until the morning.

Maybe... although it runs the risk of whoever's being targeted accidentally triggering a trap instead.

Therein lies the problem. But at the same time, why doesn't anyone ever just stay in their room and lock the door?

[because it's a murdergame zuriel!!! catch up with the times!!!]

Easy place for the killer to come looking for you, I guess?

... and I suppose locking it from the inside really doesn't help when someone could break it down, and then you're cornered. [ alright. fine. this makes sense. ]

Yeah... and I really don't want to think of what would happen if someone considered, I dunno, setting the place on fire while you were inside.

[ haven't we had enough fire in these things...? ]

The fire alarms and sprinklers would kick in, but the question is if it'd be soon enough. [ ... ] Then again they never had on Thursdays, and I assume that's just another stretch of the Entity's power.

[I feel like maybe we're all taking cues from each other now.]

Well, that's annoying.

The Entity itself is extremely annoying, so that feels fitting. I had wondered about taking out all of the lighters from the convenience store at least, but who can even tell who has what anymore?

There have been a lot of people stealing knives from the kitchen, apparently.

I can't fault them for that. They're easy to conceal and knowing what we know now, it feels more foolish not to be armed somehow.
