[ zuriel has planted herself in the flower garden of the olive garden today. quite literally, given she's on the ground instead of at the tea clearing. she's near the koi pond and seemingly watching for any fish that might appear, but she turns her head when she hears footsteps. ]
Better than some, I suppose. I wasn't particularly close to either of them. [ a pause. ] But I am worried about the people who were. [ taair. jiaoqiu. etc. ]
According to Richie, he and the others from Thursday each received a message last Sunday that, in Morse, said "knock knock." No indication of who the sender is.
And then Jiaoqiu-san had a dream where the people we lost here were standing in a red and gold hotel, talking to each other about how they were disappointed their phones had no reception. Healthy, and with their chao. Then, at the very end, Jing Yuan-san looked up at Jiaoqiu-san specifically, waved, and smiled.
Jiaoqiu-san noted it as weird because he doesn't normally dream.
After a certain point I really do just ignore why Claude asks things and let him ask.
[ but um. that's not cool. ]
Just "knock knock"? No punch line or anything? [ that's weird. ] Maybe a prank call from someone here. But that dream... doesn't sound like anywhere I've heard of. All of them? When did this happen?
[i'm warping time to now set this audience after the million other pcs i had today]
Jiaoqiu-san had the dream earlier this week, it sounds like?
As for the messages, last Sunday. And the four who disappeared Thursday this week received one today, as well. Each different this time, though.
[he will show zuriel the list of decoded messages on his phone:
SABER: THIS ENTIRE THING HAS BEEN SAN (cut off) WIS'ADEL: WITH THE KNOWLEDGE ... BEING MANIPULATED KOHARU: WHOS THERE? ... BOO BASILIO: OPEN THE DOOR UNWARY OF ANY THREAT]
I'll have to ask him about the dream myself next time I see him. I'm curious about a few details he might be able to answer.
[ she is looking at the four messages, and she is frowning so deeply. ]
What in the world... who is being manipulated? Or what? [ also she's not exactly thrilled about the idea of opening doors for some reason, so she's just continuing to frown. ]
What have the others said about these ones? [ she means other people he's talked to, not exactly other angels or anything. ]
Given who the starring roles are? It's... interesting. Why only those people, you think? Is it because what the first group experienced was from Jiaoqiu's memories? But that doesn't explain the second set either.
The first time I thought it was an error, but now that this has happened twice... maybe the interference has further reach than we anticipated. Not that it makes sense, and I can't figure out why it would, but... they always come back, too.
[ if you're going to torment someone, why bother sending them back? ]
The real question I have is are they going outside of heaven itself, or is it just a part we can't reach easily? The way they're able to slip in and out so easily is the disturbing part.
[NVM GUESS ON TUESDAY WHICH I MIGHT JUST DO ICLY TOO IT'S SAD WE GOT IT MODS THIS DECODER LIED TO FRANCY]
I didn't even think about that... From what I know, though, the first one was based off Jiaoqiu-san and Jing Yuan-san's home, and while I don't know about the second one, someone said they had reason to think it was similar.
It feels... similar to how things go on Sundays now, doesn't it? How things change to reflect places they know, and people they know, but it only affects the two of them.
week 2, sunday
... hey.

I'm managing. Same as you.
[worried about the others.]
You've probably already been told, but I wanted to catch up on things going around here.

she sits up a little taller though and frowns a bit to that. ]
I think you underestimate how much people might tell me, actually. They may have told Gamaliel though. What sort of things?

The morse code message that Richie and the others got, and Jiaoqiu-san's dream.

Suddenly Claude asking if God spoke to us in Morse makes more sense. [ please explain. ]

No, they didn't say.
