The Garden of Eden

Apple, apple way up high,
I can reach you if I try.

As of Week One, looking at the apple tree out behind the church will draw your eyes to several shiny, large fruits hanging from its branches. Though it looks sparse now, every now and then you may find yourself noticing newer and fresher fruits. Approaching this tree will flood you with an intuitive understanding: to eat one of these apples would be to have a prayer answered. But to pick one of these apples is to have sinned.

In other words: do a murder, get a magic apple.

For those with untainted hands, these are just ordinary apples. But for those who take the risk, even if you don't get away with it, these apple can grant you a variety of boons. You know in your heart that this promise is true. After all, this is a place of miracles, isn't it? Once you've killed another, the apple is yours for the taking. It just takes one bite to activate its power.

These apples are meant to serve as incentive to kill independently. We do ask that players select only one apple, and the number of apples allowed per player is up to mod discretion.

🍎 Red Delicious Apple - you left rather abruptly, didn't you. Surely all of you have something - or someone to find, an unfinished journey and a life's work searching for something beyond your reach. One bite of this apple will provide you with divine knowledge of the whereabouts of something from your home world you're seeking.

🍏 Honey Crisp Apple - you've also left people behind you're worried for, haven't you? Or perhaps you left the world behind by perishing from a fatal blow. One bite of this apple will allow you to heal yourself, or someone you know, from any kind of injury, illness or ailment here or in your home world.

🍎 Pink Lady Apple - but what if it's too late to heal someone you love? Perhaps they've already left you...pity. One bite of this apple will allow you to bring back a deceased love one either here or in your home world.

🍏 Granny Smith Apple - speaking of things that are too late, perhaps your regrets have nothing to do with a person. Maybe there's something you wish you could relive, or an opportunity you wish you could redo. One bite of this apple will grant you the ability to rewind or alter one event in your history for a do-over.

🍎 Golden Delicious Apple - or maybe you just want something else entirely? While money may not be able to buy happiness, it certainly helps, doesn't it? One bite of this apple will provide you with a lump sum of money or the resource of your choice upon returning to your home world.

🍏 Gala Apple - and when money isn't enough, perhaps a little bit of attention will seal the deal. Are you tired of being ignored? Unappreciated? Unloved, even? One bite of this apple and you'll earn the love and respect you deserve from the people you seek it from most in your home world.

🍎 Fuji Apple - you've spent a long time trying to atone for your mistake, right? What if there was a way to eliminate them entirely without the ever-present guilt? One bite of this apple and you can have a fresh start. No more pain, no more suffering...simply a good life where you may begin again.

🍏 Ambrosia Apple - okay. Really. This is getting quite ridiculous. What do you mean you have everything you could want? Hm...bet you never considered great, colossal power, now have you? One bite of this apple and you can become a god...or maybe even God. (In your world.)
