I do have them. Though my opinions aren't going to work with the majority. I'm aware of that. In fact, if they were, I'd be concerned.

Hextech again. I don't know if that one is a good example, considering you were murdered for it.

It's the principle of it. Risking personal peril to stay true to your aspirations is sometimes necessary.

[He shakes his head.]

Suggestions unique to you without worry about whether they go against the majority.

... I do.

[ admitting things about herself ... wow ]

We're from different worlds, so I doubt you know the works I'm familiar with, but I do think you'd enjoy Edgar Allen Poe. Or at the very least Mary Shelley, despite my ongoing rivalry with her.

[ gives viktor frankenstein ]

Mary Shelley wrote what many consider the first science fiction novel in history. She was surrounded by philosophers, and her works often spoke to the nature between the self and society. Her historical works also questioned gender roles and question established theological and political institutions. I'd espouse about the gothic nature of her work, but I'm not certain the term is familiar to your world.

Poe, on the other hand, was a poet. Once again, gothic is what some would use to describe his work. Perhaps dark romanticism is more common. One could argue for horror, even. His most recurrent theme was death in all its forms.
