Can I ask why you're here as part of this project, then?

The three of us weren't initially hired on for the project the same way the other ones were. We're here to oversee damaged souls.

Damaged souls in general? That seems like quite the responsibility. What kind of compensation do you receive?

Fair wages are the least one can ask for in an inherently capitalistic world. [ b u t: ] I get compensated for my work here. Probably far more than any of the others do, but I know my own value and how to negotiate a contract.
